Gosh I'm Sorry Folks...

I love visiting others' sites so much I sometimes forget I've got one here that's getting stale as two day old bagels.

Well, I've replied to some of your comments, and thanks for stopping by all. What next?

Well, some of you already know I've been taking advantage of the MEMY updraft, even though I think it may be shortlived. Still, the strength it showed today (volume and pricewise) stood athwart the relative decline in most of the other biotech hotties. Let's keep an eye on her, here, with a quick respite to the trigger if need be.

I'm starting to get weary of my NYX position which is usually a signal that it's about to go up. It will just wait for me to get off, first, of course. Seriously, it has seemed to have found a nice home here at the $96 mark, with that bounce of the "fitty fib" (50% fibonacci retrace line) of about 95.55 (or "ninety fie, fitty fie" as they say back home on the Guyland). Beannie and Alok seem to think it's time is here... we'll see.

My friend the beautiful Goddess gave out a shout out to NYX cousin NMX this weekend, and while I think she may have been a tad early, I think today it may have found some comfort nestled around it's 38% retrace (approx $127.42 ). It sure fit and fought around that number for a while today, only to top it off to close at $127.49. Like Gosu of Beannie fame, I think these exchanges are going to be leaders -- be it up or down. Let's keep an eye on our commodity trading friend here....

Beannie and Alok thinks its time is here for what regarding NYX?

And as far as NMX, I don't mind if I am early. I am not a daytrader, and this is not even what I would consider a swing trade.

Look me up at the end of May with regard to NMX. Then we can reassess if I was early or late or right on time.

;)

Wellll, if I get in today... And you got in on Monday....

And we're up in May....

I will have more return than you, for a shorter period of time, therefore...?

Entries do matter!

(Unless you're an independently wealthy movie goddess living in Moon Bay, or Marin, or wherevah)

(PS -- watch for the bro, he's fuzz by you!)

Jake,

Excellent point! Yes... entry points are not my forte. I was studying up on them over at my friend Chris Perruna's blog. As you can see, I may jump the gun on occasion, but my ratio seems to work out for the better so far.

:)

And I am not understanding your bro and fuzz comment...do I need to rewatch Austin Powers to comprende that or will you be a sweetheart and dumb that down for me?

Muchas gracias!

My bro is fuzz in Marin.

Blue?

5-0?

The Man?

Ummmm.... "I swear I onee had boo teers, occifer." ?

Maybe not for long, he might be contemplating a move to SoCa like you....

Jake,

Do not worry about me...

I don't drink and drive.

I may drink.

But I don't drink and drive.

And I drive.

But not when I have been drinking.

Now... is that 5'0"?

TG:

"5-0" is the fuzz.

"10-4" is "OK!"

Hey Jake, stopped by to say hi. looks like tomorrow is going to be another rough day. i'm sorta half glad, it will give me good entry points on friday.

I'd be in "Watch and Wait" mode, Alok.

I like your thoughts on RIMM, though.

Looks like this NYX move was ill-timed... I can't help but think they're going to announce something nasty...

hey jake, missed your funny comments all day today. looks like you just vanished, whats up with that. dont be disheartend by NYX, i like todays action very much. i wish i owned some, infact i just might buy some tomorrow if it continues this up move (new uptrend established today). a new perfect bounce from the 20dma (simple), an excellent looking candle today.

i want to keep some cash to bottomfish RIMM. lets see if i'm successful, i'll let you know when i'm getting in.

Alok--

Thanks for stopping by... no worries, bud... just had an all day meeting out of the office.

Gotta pay this tuition bill, you know! lol.

Alok said...

...and 8 inches is terrific!

Now, what gives you the jitters about NYX? I thought you were long NYX???

JakeGint said...

TG--

Just short term jitters... I thought for sure they were taking it into the eighties yesterday... but it may have been the end of the selling. Didn't like the immediate chart pattern is all... crashing through a lot of retrace lines before it bounced nicely off yesterday's.

Jake MEMY is old news, you gotta come up with some thing new for next week now. I've gotta few good under 10 stocks, unfortuantely all have seen a good rise this week so we'll have to wait for them to come down some. I'll post a complete list here by tomorrow so that we can discuss some of them. today was an awesome day. i got into ONT a bit too late as i was focusing on some other stocks. lets hope it goes up next week.

I'm never totally sure what MAS is saying in his comments, but if he's saying "ONT ain't over" I'm agreeing.

Also looked like ENG was getting a little sniffle there on Friday before it took two steps back to match its two steps forward.
