I Want My Wide Screen... at a Price!

Here's one I've been looking at recently:

BRLC, or Syntax Brillian Corporation, has a funny name, but an interesting goal... to become the best quality "at a price" vendor of LCD and rear projection monitor televisions for the retail home owner. They currently manufacture their products under the brand name "Olevia" and are available through major retailers like Circuit City and Target Stores. I urge you to attend to your own due diligence, but I like these folks' growth trajectory, and I like their niche. It also doesn't hurt that there's a report out that as much as 40% of their float is now short (maybe not as much after today's rise). Short squeezes sure make for fun trading opps, don't they?

Hi Jake, looks like i beat everyone to your new post this time so i'll have to try to look intelligent (which is very hard) so try RBY - i like the technicals on this one.

Hey Alok, checked out your RBY, and it "spanged!" right off it's second fib (38.2%) at $1.94... next stop, first fib at $2.27.

I think I'd hold off to see what it does with regard to that first fib, before pulling the trigger.

not a bad choice, i've been seeing how ANO and RBY have been moving closely and everything looks good so far.

another gold stock MMG.

Alok,

Your RBY is sitting just below it's first fib now ($2.26)... I may do a piece on it...

I've always wondered who made those TVs. Nice picture. But TVs are a real competitive business. I work in a merchandising environment and just today, the buyer was mentioning how that segment was experiencing some tough times, down about 12% this month vs last year for us.
